A different kind of update

Reading Time: 2 minutes

You may have noticed that I started disappearing in January of this year after launching this blog and then that was it, no news on any platforms.
I have had some activity a bit here and there on Facebook but that’s it.

I thought I owed you an explanation, I gradually lost the use of my right hand, which incidentally is also my dominant hand, at this point, I have no function in my right hand whatsoever. This has caused many problems in both my career and my life as you can imagine, I will post more on these issues and how to overcome them as soon as I can.

Right now, I can tell you that I’m not giving up on either the blogs, podcast or my photography, it’s just going to take me a little time to get back into the normal cadence of life, one with no function in a limb and where pain is a norm. Though I haven’t gotten to the point where I’ve given up on getting better and getting access to my hand again, the reality is I need to get moving with my life without it for now.

I want to thank my family and friends, both close and far, for their incredible support but particularly my close family, my wife, my mother and my brother would have been there for me all the way, also Michelle, Martin, Vusi, Yogesh, and family and so many I am forgetting for the encouragement and support when I need it most. A special mention has to go to my occupational therapist Carin, without whom I would have a harder time dealing with this.

What I can tell you, at this point in time, is that I am involved in various exciting projects, I can’t say much about them at this point but I will update you as soon as I can.
